Proximity is Power
One of the underrated lessons I've learned is proximity is power. The closer you are to something the more likely you are to derive value from it.
The closer you are to your gym, the more often you'll go.
The closer your office is to your bosses, the more likely you will get promoted.
The closer you live to a grocery store, the less often you'll eat out.
It's that simple. So if you're choosing between a nice gym with more amenities that's a 15-minute drive away vs a bare-bones gym that's a 5-minute walk, go with the bare-bones one.
Proximity is a powerful force. Use it to your advantage.
